Is Vaping Safer For Hearties?
Safest is giving up altogether.
Surely it's not worth the risk? Does that insinuate you are still smoking?
I was told by the Cardiologist that it was a time bomb waiting to happen fuelled mainly by being told that vaping was less harmful than smoking thus almost giving it a green light to go ahead.
It seems that it a time thing { like smoking } and they have to gather more information over a time span to tell what damage it does/ is doing.
Im an exsmoker but I don't judge anyone , smoke, vape do what you want, but if you can, find out as much information as possible, then decide, the old head in the sand is no excuse anymore with information so readily available .
As ever

That study is not good for your blood pressure, I couldn't find a way to read it 😡😂😂😂
That article makes no sense to me.
It is about research done on two groups. Vapours and Smokers in one group versus Non nicotine consumers in the other.
The conclusion is that vaping and smoking is worse than refraining. This puts vapours and smokers in the same basket with prevalent CAD.
It is not about vapours vs smokers.
interesting, it's a continuum the best thing to put into the lungs is air that is a given. But as a ex smoker and now very low use vaper my attitude is vape better than fags.
before my bypass I was a fairly heavy smoker and on the day of my transfer from Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton I actually rolled a cigarette to smoke on arrival, but I was rushed straight from the ambulance into the hospital without a chance to spark up.
That roll up sat in my glasses case for eleven days, when I was discharged in the car park waiting for my ride home I took it out put it in to my mouth ready to spark up and Carry on with my lifetime crutch and paused then took the cigarette and my lighter and tobacco pouch and with the comment I have done eleven days so good by, I stopped smoking.
when I got home, I realized that I was going to have difficulty in keeping my resolution, so decided that vaping was a option, having tried patches and gum before they hadn't worked. so I used the net and did some research.
as a result I chose a basic refillable vape and started with with a 12% juice and used it the same way as my fags, after about a month I went to a 6% juice and also started to cut back on the number of times a day I used it, and after another couple of months the number of pulls each time I used it.
Fourteen months later I am down to four or five times a day three or four pull's and I am now on 0.6% juice and at this rate aim to be off completely by Christmas.
This rather long winded reply is really my way of saying that vaping is not really a good idea, but it can be a useful tool for cutting down and eventually (hopefully) stopping.
but it's far better to just stick to the oxygen and nitrogen mix that the planet supply's us with. Interesting article once I downloaded the app so that I could read it. Thanks.
