Interesting book for hearties

Just had another look at my bookshelves. One book popped into my hand

"The simplified Handbook for living with Heart Disease and other chronic diseases.

Written by a former patient and his caregiver, it answers a lot of questions and is aimed at Patients and their Caregivers. It Helps to reinforce the path you need to take and gives you the medical knowledge that you will need to help to get your mind around why you need to do it.

Suggested strategies are made to follow to help you do it, and rules to implement to make sure you don't go sliding back into your bad old ways along plenty of Interesting information to look at how portion sizes have changed.

Worth a look

A timely reminder as I am faced with my drastically reduced Christmas dinner.Have lost four and a half stone and intend to keep it off but difficult to see the rest of the family tucking in.😞

Melon starter, loads of veg with you main course, meringues for afters and a small glass of wine. Four and a half stone is truly impressive. Well done, stay with it and become one of the winners in life. Congratulations. Ian
