rough skin

since been on heart meds Post op I now getting rough skin on nose and stomach area has anyone else suffered from this

Have you tried a moisturiser? There's a lot of overpriced ones that are no letter than the lower priced ones. Maybe Nivea Day Cream. My experience with moisturisers comes from over a decade of PAD which causes dreadfully dry skin!

I have to use skin lotion on my legs due to lymphoedema. So I am using that.

hi Charl 70, don’t have rough skin but have very dry skin now. It’s like dandruff all over my body. When I take my shirt off it’s like a snow flurry. Cardiologist says down to medication probably diuretics I take.

I was on diuretics for 15 years. My skin is horrific; feels like sandpaper and when I bathe there's a layer of dead skin on the water. Afterwards flakes of skin stand up from my skin and can be picked off. Tried all he prescription stuff you bathe with and it's useless. Only thing that helps is Aveeno.

Hi I get prescribed balneum oil to wash with instead of shower gels and I also get double base cream or equivalent to use, both are great and my skin really cleared up. Char

I find cheap aloe vera stuff from budget outfits works as well as the more expensive stuff.
