Angiogram and possible second Stent and Stress test coming up

Firstly thanks to those who replied to my first post about my nuasea it is improving and on a good day I have no symptoms. Firstly when I had my HA on the 12th July they fitted one stent but noticed the left side was showing some narrowing and I think they put a balloon to widen it with a possible stent needed depending on how things go in about 8 weeks after discharge, well I have been given my date for this which will be on the 30th Sept. I hope they do fit one then I know it is fixed, I am not worried about having this procedure done. Second, I will be having a stress test and check up next week which I have been informed will last approx one and a half hours it would be good to know from you what to expect. It seems to me that they have jumped the gun and this should be done after the second procedure. As for me in general I have new twinges every couple of days, I have one today in my right arm that they used for the stent at the elbow where I can feel still some soreness and my muscle is twitching. Also when I do a lot of walking as per the instructions given to me I get a bit of soreness in my right lower ribcage and a few twinges here and there also yesturday I felt a bit breathless when walking around town, but not had any chest pains or needed to use the spray. I would be grateful to hear what others have felt during this early period post HA, as you may realise I am still going through the paranoid period were you think that every twinge or pain or bit of breathlessness is another HA. Finally the shock and depression hit me a couple of days ago I felt really down but I am feeling better today, I new this would happen at some point but didn't realise just how bad it would be. Lastly I would like to say this site and those who respond with their advice has been a great help to me and joining was the best thing I did.

Hello busybee64, glad to hear you are doing well. It is perfectly normal for us to get down days but they do pass. I cannot advise you on your next procedure as I am a CABG heartie. All the best for your next procedure and all will go well. Take good care, Judi

Probbaly a good idea to do eh stress test before another angiogram; it will help hemmmmmm to know how your heart copes without intervention. I was also told after HA and 2 stents that I have two more blockages. i had to go for another angiogram to see if they needed stents. AT 65% blocked they said the blood flow was good enough. A stress test is walking on a treadmill while they monitor your heart. You or they can stop it at any time.

Thanks for the info, I am already using my treadmill so that will not be a problem. To be honest if there is still some narrowing I would prefare they put a stent in so it's done with.

That's what I thought. I Keep wondering if mine have got worse but when you consider the risks of any procedure, it's obvious they would leave things as they are providing you're not having symptoms. I had an extra echo scan at Christmas, requested by my gP just to set my mind at re st.
