Wycombe Rye parkrun became my only means of exercise during my latest AFib episode over the past 13 weeks, here I have written my own tribute to parkrun and how it has helped me.

Many, many congratulations Peter, brilliant news! Take good care, Judi
peter, I'm not a runner,, never have been due to asthma,
But i Love to Roller Skate, great sport to bond with my Daughter (15)
Since getting my Stents earlier in the year and including a rupture during the procedure (Heart attack and brought back with CPR , the rupture they fixed with more stents.
My common joke with my Cardio team was,, when can I roller skate..they Whistled and suggested that it probably wasnt the best Idea..
I reminded them that it was "Low Impact" Except when you fall over !!!!
the first 2 months was hard due to having a Bruised chest/ribs from them trying to break them.
Now I try to Skate outdoor at least twice a week,, and walk everyday
Special treat is the Monthly Roller Disco !!
Your story just goes to show, its not just the exercise that you need its the support from others in a exercise plan that you enjoy.
Parkrun is brilliant. I've only done a couple (38 mins) but I couldn't agree more.
