Hello & Welcome :-)

I think you need to expand a little more on what you are trying to ask :-)

I notice you are a newcomer and you are welcome and I also noticed you did another post that got deleted because the subject you were talking about in that post Admin do not allow posts relating to that subject

I hope you can get your message across and be able to avoid mentioning the band subject :-) x

I’m intrigued about “banned subjects” but won’t know what they are because they’re banned!!!

in reply to Afibflipper

It is a pandemic we have been going through and what was given to try and stop us getting it to bad

I might get away with saying this much and hope you can string together my bad attempt of morse code :-) x

in reply to Afibflipper

Will try again :-) x

Hello

Your reply to BeKind cannot be seen in full.

The probable reason maybe that you have included a word to describe the 'c' virsus.

The forum guidelines does not allow mis information about the 'c' virus to be posted.

The BHF website has some research based evidence about the 'c' virus and how it can affect the Cardiovascular system.

Are you asking how is a diagnosis made between the two conditions, or are you asking for tips on coping with either?

I have lived with recurrent pericarditis since the late 1990s. Mine was brought on as a consequence of surviving Dengue Fever Stage2.

I also saw your other attempt for information which has been deleted by Admin owing to your mention of a banned topic. For information on that I suggest you use an appropriate search term on your preferred search engine to find online discussion groups where the topic is (so far) not banned. Also the UK Facebook groups on any of the carditis conditions are so far discussing the topic without excessive moderation.

Hi. If your question is can one get myocarditis from the unspeakable needle, then the answer is yes. Mine has been officially diagnosed as a direct effect from it. I am not against the neddle at all, my whole family has had it - but yes it is a know yet rare side effect. On the question if you should have top up needles I have no answer, as no medic will have a neutral sensible discussion about it, how ever many times I ask. So as a result I am not doing any more neddles personally, despite being happy for the rest of the family to have it - as for me it became chronic myocarditis, which lead to heart failure, life completely changed now one and a half year later - and frankly don’t want to take play Russian roulette with my life again.

Same here! Have been experiencing a huge amount of ‘inflammation/immune’ problems including many heart issues after 1st, exacerbated greatly with 2nd.. now advised (& ACKNOWLEDGED.. FINALLY!) a) this IS the result of a ‘massive over-reaction of my immune system; & b) under NO circumstances to have the 3rd (by two separate GP’s)!!! 🤦‍♀️

Why, why, WHY is this NOT being ‘allowed’ to be OPENLY DISCUSSED????! 😡

I suggest rather than vent on here you send a message to the admin to ask your question.

You’re assuming I haven’t.. 😊

Then no need to stir things up on here really. Most of us know this is a subject that is not talked about whether you agree or not. I get the help and support on here without having that brought up. I have seen the threads that get very heated and really don't think it is necessary.

I hope you get the answer you are seeking from admin, I have nothing more to say.

I am a member with a heart condition and respect the need to keep things as friendly as possible.

With respect, Heather.. I’m not trying to ‘stir things up’ and also ‘as a member with a heart condition’ myself too, I also greatly appreciate the need to keep things as friendly as possible too.

Expressing frustration, doesn’t equate to ‘unfriendliness’.

Because the medical establishment are following government guide lines. Which is stupid as this is how crazy conspiracy theories get born. If we could just openly discuss things, that would not happen.

That is brilliant that your GP’s were willing to be honest with you. And thank you from me for telling me about it. Mine was also from a massive over reaction by my immune system. I will definitely keep away from any more needles now 👍🏻

And this is also why it is important that we can discuss the needle thing. For over a year now I have been in non-info hell, as no one is willing to have a informed neutral discussion with me. It’s been awful. To have heart conditions but not being able to discuss how it happened or how to prevent it happening again. Medic or others. This is the first time I have ever heard any advice given by a medic, despite it being 2nd hand info - I can’t even explain what a difference that has made to me.

Thank you. That’s a shame that there are those ‘anti’ that feel the need to ‘discuss’ this in such an unhelpful way, because it closes down all truly helpful discussion for others.

Thank you.. I appreciate your saying that, & yes you’re right.. I wasn’t here/aware of any of these previous discussions or the ‘bans’. Thank you 🙏
