Hello everyone .I thought I would update my last post which I posted a while ago after my first angiogram. My follow up letter stated 'impaired LV function' and 'candidate for Entresto' plus 'recommend walking'.
Since then, April, I have been put on Entresto as per the letter ( by my GP ) as my breathing deteriorated and I was having trouble carrying out my daily activities let alone walking!
I feel so much better on the Entresto .. luckily with no side effects. Plus I am sleeping better as I am not coughing all night.
So now I await the follow-up appointment which said' will see in clinic in a few months'.
Any advice or comments most welcome

Nice to hear your positive outcome with the drug Entresto. Like you I am on it { middle dose } and also like you have felt nothing but positive results.
Its a good step forward for you especially as it has helped you sleep better which is a great result { mr grumpy here without my sleep }
The next stage is your next visit to clinic and tests that will hopefully show some improvement on your condition.
Good luck and thank you for posting your good news
Hi. That’s really good news. I started entresto last week and I’m hoping it will help. I cough a lot at night and thought it was rampiril but it could be my heart. I’m really hoping it will stop so it’s good to hear that yours has improved.
Yes the cough was doing me no good as it kept me awake the best part of the night. I don't look great in the mornings normally but I looked a fright before Entresto!
I'm on Entresto too, started in October last year, just waiting for an ECG and consultant appointment to see if it's worked. I have to say I do sleep better and feel less out of breath after exercise so that's a win.
Yes the difference it made to me was noticeable in a few days after commencing Entresto and I am so relieved not to have the side effects as it's given me some of the old me back.
