I'm lucky to have survived my dcm and afib well. However appointments are few and far between at the moment so I'm just curious if anyone had been using the kardimobile devices for spot checks.

Yes, I use the 6L and reckon it's well worth it. I just use it to see what's happening with my heart when ectopics or other bumps occur It's a way of keeping a record to share with doctors should the need ariseHenry
Yes, I used it after a bypass operation. Like many people following open heart surgery I briefly had mild AF. It soon passed, but I wanted to monitor it so used the Kardi monitor
The device worked very well, it was simple to set up and to operate, plus the results are accurate enough to be acceptable by both the NHS and (as far as I can tell) virtually all private cardiologists in the UK, so you can share the results with your GP and cardiologist.

Yes currently using to monitor if I have AF or not following MV repair and awaiting a Cardioversion.When I looked just after surgery(May 2022 and finding out I had AF) seemed to have good reviews and glad to hear from other responders that it is recognised in NHS as looks very American.
Have gone for a basic account which means I can share results via a PDF, assume this will be ok.
Have a appointment soon with a nurse practitioner where I will mention I have and will see if they are interested in receiving results.
Currently showing no AFs after quite a few in first few weeks.
Could be meds I am on kicking in or heart has settled.
Also I did look at smart watches but rather attached to the non-smart watch I have. 😀
It’s very easy to use and, as others say, is NHS approved.My concern is that my BPM reading from the gadget is literally twice the rate of both my Apple Watch , and the cuff type Boots BP monitor.
So, next time I go to see the doc/ consultant about my AF , I shall ask which one to believe, if any !
Hi, I got one as cardiologist was concerned and wanted to investigate my tachycardia in case it was AF. Easy to use and sent readings through to him when I felt unwell or my heart racing. He read them and then reported the results back to me - all was well. I could have waited to be loaned one for a month from the local hospital, but preferred to buy my own.
Has anyone who has had an ablation, caught Covid and it’s brought their AFib back. ?
