Hi all not often posted but daily reading other post very informative, here goes HA 2018 two stents fitted, since then continue left side chest discomfort with swelling had X-ray plus mri stress test over past year breathing has deteriorated so in November angiogram with view to fit one more stent, during procedure was decided to stop as consultant felt a bypass would be more beneficial, no communication since until Saturday a appointment for angioplasty at end off month, no explanation on results off JCC meeting that was held with St Thomas’s at end of November, this morning phoned consultant secretary and she has told me

I need to get in contact with cardiac pathway coordinator who isn’t available till tomorrow, my consultant on leave for two weeks so would not be even doing the procedure which he had insisted on doing himself in the November one due to the complex off the stent, u feeling that this is being done as a quicker procedure and I will be one less on waiting list, I am a very anxious patient sorry for the long post hope it makes sense. Join the anxiety club to as I am a very anxious person and this would throw me to

We jump to all kinds of conclusions and there is nothing worse when these professionals swap things they have said originally to throw us in a spin

But you can talk with them tomorrow and I bet there will be a explanation that hopefully will make sense

Try not to over think it and make some notes when you can get someone to speak to so you remember everything you want answering

Hello bekind28 thank you for replying well yesterday I spoke to coordinator and she said the letter from meeting had gone astray so sent a copy out which I received today, still none the wiser on how my condition has gone from multiple pci needed to now they saying pci to lad, I have decided to postpone my angioplasty till I have spoken to my consultant, and have asked for face to face, he had put on letter that I should have been put on his list for the procedure which I wasn’t, this is not helping me. I do relate with one thing and then another and confusing us even more as if we need it !

I would try and I say try as I know how hard it is not to worry if there was anything that needed addressing straight away they would have you in

I think that could be the best way to go wait to speak with your Consultant which I hope is not to long and you could always phone their Secretary and ask if they can speak to you sooner as you are now so confused with everything as I was once told there is no harm in asking ?

Keep us updated and of course come on and talk when you feel you need to as the support on here helps to keep you going while we are getting things sorted out which you will x
