Palpitations. Seemingly everyday for the last couple of weeks. I’ve had 2 ecgs and no other symptoms except anxiety. But I’m getting panicked which in turn makes it worse. Seeing. Cardiac physiologist in Feb.

Hello :-)

Anxiety can cause terrible palpitations that seem like it could be something more sinister as we never feel anxiety could cause something like this but it does

Try and stay positive that so far everything has come back fine and it is not long now till Feb and hopefully you will feel more reassured when you have had your appointment :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x

My palpitations never showed up in the "short" ECGs.

In 24h ECG doctors found out that I have extra ectopic beats.

I am in a similar situation as my palpitations started on Christmas Day. A trip to ED showed I have ventricular ectopics that I was led to believe would settle in a matter of days. It is now a month later and I have ectopic beats every minute. sometimes every third beat and sometimes every 30 beats but I don't seem to have them continuously. My GP seems totally unconcerned although I have just had a 24 hour tape today. I haven't been anxious but now the whole situation is making me anxious .. I understand your concerns

I hope you get sorted. I guess like me the anxiety is making them worse. I’m hoping to have a 24 hr thing too, but they don’t seem overly concerned as they don’t seem to be with you. Lets hope we both get sorted out. Positive thoughts eh.? Thanks for replying.
