Potential Heart Issue

Good evening and happy new year to you all. I come here in need of help. For nearly 5 years I’ve been having issues which I now believe are linked to my heart. I have even back and forth to the GP and I’m currently under the cardiology department at the hospital.

The symptoms I experience generally every day and are the following.

Nausea, Weak, fatigue, feel like sometimes I can be close to passing out unless I lay down. Tremors can also be there too. One thing I have noticed is if I go on the exercise bike as time goes by I can feel myself getting weaker and weaker to the point where I need to lay down. Another thing I’ve noticed recently is if I walk for an hour or more I get an ache in my lower back on the left hand side. Again this goes with rest.

About 2 years ago I had a tilt table test and lasted 11 minutes and I was diagnosed with Vasovagal Syncope… though I’m still not convinced. I’ve also had two echocardiograms and been told everything looks fine. I have had a holter monitor around 4 months ago and they said they noticed that my blood pressure kept dropping slightly so they prescribed my Fludrocortisone to raise it slightly. This hasn’t made difference at all. When ever I take my blood pressure generally it’s bang on normal 120/70.

I’ve got an appointment this week and they have already mentioned to me via letter they intend to discharge me.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be? Or help me in how to progress with this.

Thanks

Hi. Possibly a combination of things going on, I presume you have had your blood sugars tested?

Dear NEOBAHAMUT

I have read your post with interest, but unfortunately I cannot see how to answer it.

You have so much going on with your poor body at the moment , you have presented your symptoms in a clear manner.

I hope that your contact with the medical profession has been as clear because your symptoms to me { I am not medically trained } open up the need for many tests, not just with your heart.

The cardiologist would not sign you off if there was any problems that their dept could deal with , but I can understand your frustrations , as they have supplied no answers to your ongoing ailments.

All I can suggest is that you keep plugging away to get the answers that you need and to wish you all the best for the new year and onwards.

Take care

Just as a sub note, many [ me included ]on here would find it easier to answer your needs if you took a little time please to fill out your profile, full meds taken, treatments to date etc, thank you
