Some promising news to share. Heart Nurse asked the Consultant to agree to prescribing Entresto and Dapagliflozin for me. Just over four months later my EF has increased from 33% to 45%. Very pleasing and hope it continues!

I was taken off Ramipril, but stayed on my other meds - Carvedilol and Digoxin (both for heart), Apixaban, and Ezetimibe.

Thank you. If I ever catch up with a Cardiologist or nurse I will ask. Ramipril makes me cough like a tractor !

Your GP may be able to change ramipril to enalapril or another ‘pril without too much fuss. Worth asking. My husband had his changed quite quickly. Ramipril gone. Cough gone!

My mum is starting these on Christmas Eve! I really hope they work as well for her as they have for you. 😊 She was taking Disprolol and furosemide. But with her starting on Entresto and Dapagliflozin she has to have a 2 day break, then start Entresto twice a day morning and evening and then a week later start taking Dapagliflozin. Fingers crossed! And I hope you have a very nice Christmas.

That is wonderful ! I am hoping my husband's EF will improve after starting on Entresto fairly recently. In just 4 months, amazing !
