Good luck - mine was 3 weeks ago today and the waiting and anxiety was the worst bit. I will be thinking of you x

Thank you x Can I ask how you're feeling 3 weeks later ? Really? I expect it's very individual but just wondering.

I am feeling good. My family won’t let me do too much but on Sunday I didn’t even have any painkillers. I am averaging about 4000 steps a day but I want to increase the length of my walks but the weather isn’t helping. I had a mechanical valve and my warfarin isn’t stable yet as I’ve had to have some antibiotics.

The hospital team were amazing and at no point have I been in pain and all patients really supported each other due to no visiting.

Thank you 😊

Good luck with your op - it'll be an eye opener in 'how simple' they make the whole thing look. Don't forget your mobile phone and iPad or similar for your post op days. They can be invaluable for communication with the aid of the free NHS Wifi, whilst also allwoing you to watch TV without paying for the on demand TV system 👍

Adding my strongest "vibes" for your op. No experience of OHS myself yet - but reading everyone's experiences here is a great help for if/when my time comes.
