Blood pressure still unstable

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well and having a lovely day so far.

I could do with some peoples experience with blood pressure.

At the moment I’m taking Slozem and ramipril and there is some improvement. Bp not so high as it was, however, just as before, the first week to 10 days after starting the new meds sees the bp drop to normal and then it’s now back to being high again. Along with this comes the chest pains/angina again and that had really been brought under control. I’m confused as to why it’s doing this. I’m ringing my doctors surgery shortly to see if I can get a telephone consultation to discuss this with him but wondered if any of you have had this happen?

Any information/experiences would be welcome.

Thanking you all in advance 😊😊
