Heart attack 3 months ago. On 7.5 bisoprolol. Had cardio version last Thursday pulse as not in AFib at present expectedly lower but had improved last 2 days. But dropped again today. What makes it worse on some days than others and can I improve it?

Be useful to know what you consider low & lower? And whether or not you get any symptoms when it is?

I see you have a pulse of between 47 and 54. That is not bad at all and expected if on a BB.

Unless they are experiencing symptoms, in which case it may not be so good.

Thank you that’s really interesting. I get freezing cold if it’s staying in the 40’s. Better if it can stay 50 or just over.

HiI'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question. For info I remember the cardiologist explained that bisoprolol is given after heart surgery so the heart return to normal. As all had gone well, at the postop checkup my husband was advised that he could come off bisoprolol and as there were no negative after effects of stopping bisoprolol he has not needed to take it since. His pulse rate is regular despite the fact that he drinks alchohol at weekends but not in the week which I think you are not really supposed to do!
