Ezetimibe - experience?

Been taking Ezetimibe for 7 days & last 24 hours I have steadily felt more & more rubbish. Emotional, tired, shoulder aches & generally feeling weak. Anyone had a similar experience- does it improve?

Hi there, sorry you’re not feeling well.

I’ve taken ezetimibe for a number of years now along with a cocktail of other drugs and can’t say I noticed any significant side effects myself.

It might be worth speaking to your pharmacist or GP if it continues.

Been taking it ages with no side effects at all.

I also could not tolerate it. Shoulder, neck and arm pains

Thanks- Did you continue & it gets better or come off it?

I came off it. I’m intolerant to all statins so manage cholesterol with diet and exercise.

Felt a bit nauseous and tummy was slightly upset the first time I took it, and it happened one other time when I realised I'd taken it on an empty stomach. If you've already been on it for a week, are you sure it's not something unconnected that's making you feel unwell today?
