Cardiac ablation

Hi all I am on aroidarone to no effect as yet my cardiologist said in a letter to my GP that if armoidarone is not suited or does not have any effect he said I may be put forward for cardiac ablation has anyone had this done was it a success and how long ago I have atrial fibrillation and my pulse goes down into the 30s and up to 70s / 80s I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has had cardiac ablation regards ray

HiI had an ablation in June and was put on Amidarone as I went into afib during the procedure. Amidarone corrected my heart rate and i am now in sinus rhythm. All a big success felling so much better and able to do things I previously couldn't, walking up hills and stairs for instance!

Ablation sounds terrifying but was a very straightforward procedure, results are not always immediate but so worth it. If you need one I'm sure you be fine it certainly worked for me.

Hi. No I'm not came off them after 3 months after speaking to hospital, bad side effects with headaches.Now waiting for follow up appointment with consultant.

Hi there, i had an ablation on 10th March for my SVT, unfortunately they could not safely get my heart into SVT rhythum so they abandoned the procedure, as to continue was not in my best interests, racing heart wise, so now what do i do?
