Advice please

Good morning. I have joined here as I’m not sure what to do. Scenario, husband is 48 years old and disabled after suffering from pancreatitis several years ago. As a result he is type 1 diabetic and is medicated for high bp and is on statins along with other pain relieving meds. On Monday night and again last night he has been terrible through the night. Freezing cold, nausea and chest pains which last night started to go down his arm too and he said he feels absolutely lousy. I’ve read about symptoms that can happen potentially leading up to a ha and have asked him to go to dr but he won’t. Any suggestions and should I be panicking! Sorry for the essay. Thank you

" Freezing cold, nausea and chest pains which last night started to go down his arm too and he said he feels absolutely lousy." are classic HA symptoms. If he is still having them he needs looking at NOW before any damage or further damage is done. If he is still having these symptoms ring 999 despite what he says, for his own sake.

Lateguitarist is spot on. If you really can not jump to a 999 call, then try 111. They have helped my wife sort me out a few times.

Please over ride your husband he needs to be assessed by a medic. Please let us know how things go.

Best wishes Pauline

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I have been Type I virtually all my life and had a quadruple bypass somewhat over three years ago. With those symptoms I would be ringing 999 and asking for an ambulance now! If you haven't rung 111 or 999 yet please do so now!
