Day 2 of bisoprolol free zone. I can use my fingers already, so what I was putting down to severe arthritis may not have been after all. And my Sp02 level is 100% (was 96-98%) and my resting heart rate has gone DOWN!!

Gosh Hannahpanda, that's good! What were you on when you started reducing? I was on 2.5mg only.

I have been on 2.5mg of Bisoprolol since my bypass in 2017 and luckily with no side effects but the one thing that was made clear to me was no to stop taking it without consulting a Doctor first. I hope if you have stopped taking this you have spoken to a medical professional first? I am just worried that the effects of stopping the Bisoprolol may be worse (or more dangerous) than the effects you are currently suffering.

Thanks for your concern Heather.

I haven't spoken to a doctor, but these days sadly that's not unusual.

I am monitoring everything all the time. All of my vital stats have improved. I thought beta blockers slowed your heart down, but mine has improved. My Sp02 has improved and my resting heart rate has improved. In general, I feel better. But I will talk to my GP when I can πŸ™‚
