I've just had my BNP blood test results back in the post. NT-Pro BNP shown as 156 pg/ml. Is that not indicative of heart disease? My doctor told me last week (they seen them online) that all was fine. I'm confused. Which is it?

Ok, yes, I was confused. It appears that there are different types of BNP test. Mine, as I mentioned, was NT-Pro BNP and that suggests a threshold of 900 pg/ml. Think I've snuck in there then! I'm off out to train for my next marathon then!
