Time to start running...

So 7 months to the day after my HA and 11 months after a weber C ankle fracture/dislocation/syndesmosis disruption fixed with plates and pins I'm starting Couch to 5k today. I've done my cardiac rehab and am back in the gym so now ready to start pushing a bit to build stamina. Used to do 8k in 30 minutes but will be pleased when I can run for 5k without stopping whatever time it takes!

No heart damage, that’s great ! I had a quad CABG with no HA. Picked up on a screening process. Severe blockage on LAD that they couldn’t stent due to calcification. As they had to open me up they suggested bypassing the others which was fine by me. I’m 8 months passed it now, have done my cardio rehab, climbed Diamond Hill in Ireland and got my golf handicap down to 10 from 14. Keep it going, it gets easier!
