Bad Start to the Day

I have an appointment in a few hours so should be getting up.and ready but just feel like staying in bed. At 4:10 I woke up soaked in perspiration with slightly blurred vision. Checking my blood sugar it was 3.2 so I was hypoglycemic! Anyway treated and back to sleep about 5:00. Problem is I woke up half-an-hour ago with a mild headache and slight nausea. Five more minutes and must get moving. After having it cancelled twice at short notice I don't want to miss the appointment!

Always when you don't need it to happen. Take care, go slowly and get there - getting appointments is like going on a unicorn hunt these days!

Make sure you get to your appointment Michael, no matter how you feel okay. Let us know what doctor said about your eye etc. Hope you feeling slightly better 🙂👍

Hope you feel better soon. Think of the nap you’re going to have when you get back from your appointment. It’s usually a good incentive for me (not that I ever have one but my brain hasn’t realised that yet so the incentive still works 😂).

Hope it goes OK, Michael. And hope you feel better soon. Sounds like it’s one of those times when dragging yourself to the appointment is a good idea.

Maybe worrying about the appointment is to blame, hope you are ok now. Take care.

Feeling a lot better today. The problem with night time hypos is by the time you wake up your BG tends to be lower than when you recognise symptoms during the day. The appointment was fairly routine and neither cardic or eye related. I did have 40 winks in the car afterwards. 💤 I had been quite active the day before but thought I had compensated OK as my pre-bed BG was fine. Such is life!
