Hi Hanna Everyone is different. For me, the feeling of being tired is less now than it was 15 weeks ago when I had my HA. I still feel tired but not nearly as often. Maybe a wee chat with your gp or cardio rehab team ? Good luck.

I've not had a cardiology appointment yet been put on them from the hospital after a few episodes of palpitations and fast heart rate so just waiting so fingers crossed will be soon xxx
It should get better over the coming few weeks. You could try taking it at night, many of us found this much easier to tolerate.
If you don’t already, try taking it night. If you already do that check your BP - it may be very low x
Hi Hannah, I felt the same way as you when first put on bisoprolol. I was advised to take half the dose in the morning and the other half at night. This works well for me and I can honestly say I don’t even notice it now. Took a few weeks to settle in but am now back to long walks and feel well.Hope you get sorted. Take care x
Hi Hannah, if you’re only on a small dose try taking it at night. It helped me. Pleased your feeling better xx
I take a dose in the morning and at night - was pretty tired at first (but I put that down to the circumstances of me having to take the meds, rather than the meds themselves) but just feel normal now. If it’s really troubling you, speak to your GP!
Hi Hannah, I am on 10 mgs in the morning along with the other load of smarties that are keeping me ticking along. By 7.00 I seem to develop a form of narcolepsy and fall asleep without warning. This causes much merriment in the hubby but I don't have young children to manage. It does get easier. 😸
I'm on 2.5mg and when I first started taking them, I could only work in the mornings and spent most of the afternoon flat out on the sofa, not to mention walking round with my hands in my armpits to try to keep them warm (only when I was by myself!). I'd say it took about 8-10 weeks for the fatigue to wear off, which sounds like a long time, but your body will adjust in time. I soon know if I've forgotten to take one, so I guess they must be helping! I've also found that taking them at night helps to alleviate the side effects.
