I had a heart attack nearly 3 months ago and had 4 stents put in do you know if it is ok to fly we are going to Scotland in October

I doubt there should be any issue unless you are a very nervous flyer. The best thing is to run it past your GP who knows your full medical history.

So sorry we can't give medical advice here. Best to run it by your gp. Good luck.

morning. i was in the overnight cath lab with a cabin crew guy. he asked doc the same question and was told give it a week. don’t know if that’s a general answer or just his personal decision according to his heart history❤️shiona

Hubby had a stent inserted in Aug 2007 following a HA. We flew from Aberdeen to Birmingham at the end of November 2007, he was fine!

I flew five weeks after my HA and stent. Was one of the first questions I asked as our daughter was marrying in Edinburgh. Check with the cardiologist/secretary for your benefit.
