Morning all

I’m so glad I joined this group. I love reading all the Q&A’s as many are relative to me. My story is I found out at 62 I needed a triple bypass, I’m lucky enough to have private healthcare and decided to see Mr Birdi at the Keyhole Clinic in London (he does his NHS work in Nottingham) I was hoping for keyhole surgery but due to placement of arteries, he did open 5 weeks ago. Sadly the veins in my arms were too narrow to use and I have 5 cuts on my calves, 2 of these have required 2 courses of antibiotics to clear infection, but much better now. I have my 6 week appointment next week with him and it will be a long day due to all the tests beforehand. The staff were all wonderful, but the information I have received on here has been great in knowing that my worries/questions/expectations are all normal. I wish you all well in your own recovery journey ❤️
