Hello everyone hope your all as well as can be expected I’ve just a simple question and wondered if anyone has had similar problems I’ve been reasonably well last 6-8 weeks - I first started to feel not well as far back as last November with high BP but has stayed under control since and I’ve actually felt better -then last week I contracted the norovirus and although that just lasted 24 hours not nice but thankfully went away I’ve felt like some of my old symptoms back twinges chest (which have been investigated) do not need further investigations general fatigue feeling every ache and pain - feel a bit gutted today as I have fought my way back to getting better with general well-being input to suddenly feel like I’m back at square one so was curious to know if anybody has felt like this with there already health issues following any kind of virus thank you for listening 😊

O poor you.Norovirus is pretty nasty and any virus can leave you feeling pretty rubbish for some time after. I had this with 'flu and also with Covid last year.

Also, norovirus can alter the gut microbiome and that can affect the rest of the body.

Give it time. You know the drill, good food, rest, gentle exercise..........

Hi sewnknit thank you so much for your response found it very reassuring your right of course it’s about looking after yourself which I do try to keep up with but think I will up the probiotics hope your staying well yourself and thank you again 😊x
