I’ve got coronary heart disease and waiting for repeat echo and angiogram tests. Also leaky valve. I get so tired at times I just lie in bed for hours and then feel okay for few days. Do others experience this? Is it poor circulation? My legs sometimes don’t feel they will support me and I’m now nervous about going out on my own. Feeling isolated

Are in the UK? The problems you describe are familiar to nearly all of us here. The cause is that your heart is not getting enough oxygenated blood around your body. The symptoms sound severe. You must tell your cardiologist or GP.

Yes, I’m in UK.Thank you for replying. I spoke to GP this morning but he says nothing can be done until cardiologist has results from angiogram. Have been waiting for four months for appointment, but nothing so far.

Silly question but have you been hassling? Keep on calling the GP at regular intervals. Phone the secretary of your cardiologist asking for a call back. Keep a diary of your calls and replies. As a last resort if you feel really bad go to A&E.

I haven’t been hassling, but think my only option is to call for an ambulance when I just want to sit on the floor in a shop! It goes against the grain when NHS are under pressure.

Well good luck to you but why do you think you are less ill than all the other people in A&E ? I doubt that would be the case.
