Has anyone noticed a very slight yellowing of eye whites since starting usual medication after HA. Bloods recently back from docs ok. Thanks.

Hi Mearnsmum,I am on heart meds and I was worried as I thought that my eye whites looked slightly yellowish.

My GP shone a lamp into my eyes and said that they were not yellow, but there were a lot of red veins in my eyes.

She didn't seem too concerned about it, but it still has me worried somewhat as I wonder if it is caused by the blood thinners (Clobidogrel).

I hope that this is of some help to you.

Hello there. Yellowing of the eyes can associated with liver function, it's probably worth having a chat with you GP surgery about it. It's always best to ask rather than hold the worry inside, which makes you feel worse. Take care and cheers- Tim
