I've been on Entresto for about 6 months, with no obvious side-effects. I am currently waiting for an echoscan to see if it has helped my condition.

They are checking mine in one month for change! Thank you for your reply. I do hope you have good results from it

Hi, been on Entresto now for a month or so, started on low dose now on higher dose 49mg/51mg. Seems to have had a positive effect with me, walking easier and can do hills without loss of breath. It’s that bloody Bisoprolo that gets me, I take it and get a tight chest for an hour or so. I haven’t had any issues with Entresto.

Thank you for your reply. That's encouraging 😃 I'm on Bisoprol no side effects but on lowest dose

if you still have challenges with Bispo, try tapering it and change over to Ivabradine. Of course you need to discuss this with your GP. I took 3.5 months to taper it down and then on Ivabradine.

Hi, I have been on entresto for 10 months no side effects as far as I know, I was on bisoprolol too but that had absolutely awful side effects. Off it now and feel fantastic. Don't know if my heart is better or worse as still waiting for another heart echo.

Thank you !!!! I think they will take me off one of the beta blockers as I have low blood pressure before all this.

Hi my blood pressure was low too on bisoprolol, used to suffer with postural hypotension. Usually 90 ish over low 50s. Nurses at the surgery used to say it was good! Wasn't them nearly passing out every time I stood up.It's 116/64 at the moment and I feel pretty good.

Hi Paulo, yes I’m the same, have to stand up in two phases, chair arm then stand up and stand still otherwise flashing lights then back down I go. My blood pressure ok once I’m up but it drops when I’m on the way up!!! My blood pressure had to be over the 100 mark before they would put me on Entresto. Oh what fun heart failure is!!!

It takes a while to get used to! I felt so good after HA and stents. I had a 10 day stay in hospital and was itching to get back home and normal life. Alas the new normal means not doing quite as much as before. But don't feel guilty. Sit and rest, catch your breath and carry on when you feel like it. Shame all the drugs side effects slowed down recovery time.

Good luck.

I am around high 90s over 50-70 everyday, went to see cardiologist and it was 109 / 70 🤣 how bloody typical 🙄

in reply to 0163SLH

Hi, mine is always a little higher at the surgery, luckily they expect that and now they listen to me when I tell them my daily home readings. All the best.
