Pacemaker - feeling of something stuck in throat and chest

Had pacemaker fitted 4 weeks ago and breathlessness is gone. However I keep having this feeling that something is stuck in my throat and chest. It doesn’t hurt but am just very aware of it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas what might be causing this? Didn’t have it before the operation.

Thanks

Maybe just bruising and trauma but best to call your arrhythmia nurse or clinic to check.

Thank you

Hi SMHW. Yes, I've had it. Could be that your Pacemaker needs to be re-programmed, mine has been or it could be Anxiety related or Acid Reflex maybe. I still get it now sometimes but goes away pretty quickly. Best to get it checked at the Hospital though. Everyone is different!!
