Pace & Ablate

Hi all,I'm 52 and after 5 years of very symptomatic AF(blackouts, breathlessness, extreme fatigue) moving from paroxsymal to permanent, trying the full range of anti arithmia meds and now on 400mg of Dronedarone and 15mg of bisoprolol. and having had serveral cardiversions that only kept me in sinus for at most 24hrs. long story short after much discussion and too many side effects with the various anti arithmia drugs, I'm halfway through pace and ablate (my pacemaker was fitted back in January), i'm listed and waiting on the AV node ablation. To be honest this is the part of the P&A that worries me along with in future being pacemaker dependant.

Has anyone else been through the P&A and what's life like afterwards?

I've not had such experience. I used to have palpitations coupled with high BP. Then I administered Bisoprolol (5mg) which I discontinued over 2 years ago as my symptoms disappeared when I started administering a herbal tea called Ruzu Herbal Tea.
