Just coming off the anti platelet prasuregel and also proton pump lanserpazole after a year on both after stents. Feel a bit nervous but trying to not think about it .

I hope this isn’t a duplicate post as I’m sure many others have been on this situation. Any comments welcome folks.

I haven't taken prasuregel but guessing like Ticagrelor it causes you to bruise easily, if so then that is a major benefit of stopping.

If you are on Aspirin, I would question whether you should continue with the Lansoprazole, I was told that I must have something to protect my stomach when on daily Aspirin.

Thanks, yes I’m also on aspirin which I’ve been told to continue. It’s thought that such a low dose should not cause problem. We shall see. Thanks for your reply

How low a dose are you on?

I'm on 75mg, my Lansoprazole was stopped due to it causing bad diarrhea, they never replaced it and a couple of months later I was Blue lighted in with a suspected HA! Turned out to be the Aspirin, was put on Omeprazole and no probs since.

Fingers crossed you will be fine.

Well as they say, forewarned…… just in case you get any indigestion type symptoms.
