Can’t help but I’m interested as I’ve only just started on it, what’s the reason for coming off. I’m expecting to be on for 12 months but then likely to come off it.
I was put on it for twelve months n February 2019 Following a heart attack, or two three. When the year was up I simply stopped taking it.
NO problems at all. GP told me to stop and I did. Never noticed any difference
I've been on it twice - 12 months after my HA, then 6 months after angioplasty. No problems just stopping on the anniversary.
I've always found the nurses here to be excellent when contacted, so perhaps somethings gone amiss. Possibly even something as simple as an email ending up in your spamtrap. This said, they can't give advice of course.
I'd ask my gp - in fact, I've just had an on-line gp appt about something minor and totally unrelated. Which worked well and saved me having to physically go to the surgery. So, a phone call may resolve your concerns.
But as others have noted, I just stopped at the end of the timeperiod - in much the same way that I started driving again at the precise moment I could! 01 second past midnight on the first day I could!
Best of luck.
