Hi, I don’t know about everyone but I didn’t actually get out of breath, I just had a tight and quite painful feeling in my lower chest, after stopping for a moment or two it would go off, this happened mainly when walking up a gradient or sudden stress,I’m afraid this doesn’t help much.
I guess every one is different. For me, when I get breathless, I take deep breaths, as if I can’t get enough air in my lungs.
When I get angina, I get a pinching feeling in my throat and a burning in my windpipe. I also got other things like jaw pain and left arm pain and also pain in my chest (hahahaha I’m an old crock 🤪).
I don’t get that much now though after having stents and bypass. Just a bit short of breath mostly.
Just a thought, I don’t know where you are on our cardiac journey but could it also be a bit of anxiety getting in there if your rapid breathing?
Hope that helps a little.

Hi. I think everyone is different. I get chest tightness , feels a bit like my chest is somehow full but has no air , and feel “puffed out” it usually sorts out with rest but sometimes needs GTN.
Another question. Does your heart pound during the angina episode? How is the heart rate?
