Lo Cholesterol!

Hi,

I'm 2 years post , fortunately, minor heart attack which, even more fortunately, left little or no damage to my heart function. I take my meds everyday and was started on 8mg atorovastatin, which after 12 months was lowered to 4mg. After a recent routine blood test it was found that my overall cholesterol reading was 2!! I thought this was really good, my diet and exercise are working, but the practice nurse says my good Cholesterol needs raising and has halved my dose again to see if it brings my numbers up.

I've googled low cholesterol and am confused by the results.

Has anyone else had the same thing happen?

Thanks Paula
