When I am walking I hear a clicking sound in my head, with every step I take. I don't know what it is.

Could be sinus issues. If you have a high dairy intake try to cut down on these types of food, also switch from milk to a non dairy product. Hope this helps, speak with your GP if you are worried.

I suffer with these and tinnitus. I have primary sjrogrens and someone on that website mentioned these noises and that they sounded like an electric shock. Which I could that is what the noises were I was hearing. Hope that helps worth mentioning to your GP.

I looked through ten tinnitus sounds and I found one for my heart beats. Called Heartbeat Pulsatile. But couldn't find the clicking one.

Hi ,I would say it is the start of tinnitus. I have this it may not develop fully but yes its like a sound of a small insect a click.

There are some audio links on you tube so you can team up with what you are hearing regarding tinnitus .

Hi Lonely3190, This sounds very familiar to me but don’t believe mine is heart related & as yours is in time with your step I would suggest it may be similar? - mine is skeletal. I narrowed it down from walking around on quiet nightshifts to my neck mostly (putting earplugs in amplified it & let me hear other clicks from skeletal niggles). It sounds like a couple of close clicks every step until I turn my head & then much more noise. Give the earplugs a try - they may help pinpoint the issue. I put my issue down to old sporting injuries & wear & tear. Good luck. Steve.

I did use the earplugs but I can still hear them. But thank you for your response.

No worries. Sorry, think you missed the message a little? - with earplugs in you can often hear your own body sounds much better. Hope it helps. Good luck. Steve. 👍

Could be a form of Tinitus. I get a gentle bell ringing - it does not bother me at all, in fact its so gentle I quite enjoy it. I know I a very lucky because as you no doubt know many people get sounds that drive them mad. Never heard of clicking before but I would not worry about it unless you start to get sever pain then of course see your Doctor. Good luck

I will still speak to him about it. My dad has a rule, if its still there after 4 days, ring the doctor.

I get this, like a whooshing sound with clicks. Will be speaking to my GP if it gets any worse. I'm an anxious type underneath my jolly exterior! Good advice from your dad tho and if it continues you know what to do.

I will be speaking to a doctor on Tuesday.

If you are tense, as you may well be with anxiety etc. then it could well be skeletal . I click all over now that my body is officially old. When I was younger I did yoga and meditation at home daily and it really helped. If dr. can't help give it a go.

I am always anxious, even with antidepressants.

Dancingdreams I even ran on the spot and the clicking didn't start but when I walk it does.

The running on the spot might be loosening up the tight area. Ever tried a chiropractor? Costs about £40 per session here. (North Wales). Now I'm wondering if I should try running on the spot!

I was born in North Wales and that's not bad.
