Hiya, this is for anyone who has/had angina and if you can shine any light.
I’m 33. Male. Overweight.
For years I’ve had a pinching pain running down my left arm (doesn’t go past elbow) it’s a sharp pinching feeling, and lasts for a few seconds. I also get a very sharp pain left side of chest, the pain lasts a few seconds.
Finally I get a stabbing pain in the centre of the chest, again lasts for a few seconds.
I’m ok exercising, doing manual etc. Suffer from severe anxiety. (Heart health phobia)
I understand you can’t diganose anything and that it needs to be through a gp, any of you who have or had angina, does this sound like angina or similar symptoms?
Cheers peeps.

It doesn’t sound like angina, but as you have rightly said, we cannot diagnose as we are, for the most part, not medically qualified. Angina would typically last multiple minutes, most often it’ll be exercise induced and most often accompanied by difficulty breathing. You should see your GP about your symptoms and you should lose weight (cardiac issues or not).
My angina pain was more of a burning pain and came in waves started of mild up to a crescendo and back down, also my unstable angina pain was worse than the pain of my heart attack, but I reiterate what the others have said go to your gp
