Hello Amylasasha,

Welcome to the forum, you say the hospital sent you home, were you an in patient or in A&E? You also say a heart issue which one?

If you give us a bit more information someone will be along to try and help.

Best wishes Pauline

Hello

I actually went in with knee pain to A&E yesterday morning was there for 9 hours after a blood test they found a pulmonary embolism they then organised a CT scan within an hour and I was seen by a CARDIOLOGIST who advised had RBBB and scan showed a Pulmonary Trunk Enlargement by this time I am in shock as I told them I came to A&E With knee pain dr called the Registrar took advice and then said I could go home and await an appointment with Ecocardiogram next week

I have no information on what I have or how I got it or treatment quite concerned actually so just getting into from google

Please don’t use dr Google, it will scare you, and the information is usually out of date or wrong. If you go on the internet use NHS.The cardiologist wants a echocardiogram done to give him/her more information. It’s possible you will have a couple more tests done, the thing is they have found you have a problem and they are going to fix it.

When we are told we have heart issues it’s as if the ground as opened up under our feet, the shock is immense I remember thinking how can this happen my body had never let me down before. But here I am 4 years on and living my life grateful every day to the medical team that gave me my life back.

When you get more information post let us know how you get on.

Remember you are now a member of the Hearties family and there will be someone to listen or lend a shoulder to lean on if that’s what you need.

Take good care.

Pauline

I love the way you say health journey because that is what it is. A journey, I had Aortic valve replaced and bypass done, and as we say “Now on the mended heart road.” Just concentrate on they have found a problem but they are going to fix it.I have a new normal now, medication to take daily, exercise to do mostly walking for me, and a healthy diet. Lots of us here on the forum follow the Mediterranean diet recommended by BHF. Not a diet as such but a healthy way of eating.
