25,000 and Counting

As I mentioned in my last post I have dropped back for a while because of a number of other issues.

Looking by this morning I see the group has hit 25,000 members. Quite remarkable considering it was a few thausand when I joined in 2017!

Morning Michael,Hope your doing ok, I hadn’t noticed the number, when I joined it was under 10.000 makes you think doesn’t it? Heart issues continue day in day out! Thank goodness for this forum, and the help and support we get from each other.

Thank you to all those who asked how I am getting on. Frustratingly I am making little progress. The two main issues relate to the stump and housing. Unfortunately the problems with the stump prevent me using the prothesis. The housing one is incredibly stressful as I am keen to resume a (near) normal life.

I replied to the amputee query yesterday as I can relate to it but otherwise am remaining in the background!

So sorry to read that progress has slowed down. Still having problems with the stump must be driving you nuts! Trying to sort out housing must be so hard, and in the middle of a pandemic doesn’t help. Let’s hope that something will come along that is perfect, you certainly deserve some good luck after all you have been through. Can understand you not wanting to be front and centre just now but you are sorely missed. Sending you best wishes
