Hi all, I'm new here and also quite new to heart problems. I have had COPD for 11 years and was diagnosed with angina Dec 20. I have had angiogram which showed up stenosis in my left aorta. I had a electrocardiogram before that and went for a stress electrocardiogram this week. The clinician told me the test could cause a heart attack so I opted out. My next move is a CT scan with dye. My oximeter, after a short shower showed Sp02 93 , pulse 130 and PI ratio 0.9. At rest Sp02 94-95, pulse 90 ratio range 1.5-2. There are times when I wonder if its COPD induced of angina.

Thank you very much..
Hi, I too have COPD which I have lived with since 2000 which is when it was diagnosed and I had to have a lobectomy. I have managed ok with it up until 1 Yr ago when (due to a bad infection) I had a mild heart attack! From there a barage of tests and was told I have mild Angina. I had an Angiogram a few months later which showed a partial blockage to my RCA. I did have a Angioplasty planned but it was cancelled due to Covid. I actually had the Angioplasty in July last year with one stent fitted. I kinda thought I would feel great with my breathing much improved however this was not the case! I am glad to have had the the stent fitted as it was needed and the care I received was fantastic! I do have a GTN spray!
My Stats are much the same as yours with the Oxygen levels/Pulse ect! I feel the COPD is the main problem with regard to stats and breathing issues! Angina is, I guess, there in the background but for me the COPD is at the forefront.
I hope I have been of some help, and good luck with your tests, they may seem daunting but are pretty ok
🙂Take care
John
Hi, I don't have COPD or heart problems myself which I credit to most of my life being health orientated, unfortunately a close family member not so keen on prevention does now have both so would like to share further but unfortunately the BHF recently blocked me from replying to posts so I will be surprised if you are allowed to read this one and will myself be dereg from the site today.
