I recently overheard a bunch of school children complaining about their teacher. 'He hasn't got a clue' said one, 'No idea, he can't even add up said another'. 'Looks like he has been dragged through a hedge backwards' commented a third. "He smells of beer", said another.
Eventually one of them stood up "Stop giving him a hard time - Dad's doing his best".

Ha ha. I didn't know that you knew me. I am now busy learning about powerful adjectives, personification, metaphors, similes, noun phrases, expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials, plus more. 😅. I am only teaching a 9 year old . Ha ha. I have never used google on grammar so much 😂😂🤣
Whatever happened to adverbial and adjectival clauses and good old gerunds?😊
