Sunday At Rehab - Having a Laugh!

A friend started doing 10,000 a steps a day when he hit 65. Now five years later we don't know where the hell he is!

Another friend said he took up exercising so that he could hear heavy breathing again.

A friend’s wife joined a health club last year at a cost of £450. She has not lost a pound as she did not realise you have to go there.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people I do not like.

The advantage of exercising every day is that you die healthier.

Glad to hear the morphine has kicked in & test results were good. Hope you're being well looked after. Good stuff that morphine, they used to give Kevin that and it always did the trick, no trying to sneak out with some though!! Xx

Any morphine lurking anywhere that you can sneakily pinch??? Good luck, let us know how you get on with the tests xxx

Ps: you need some of Michaels jokes as a distraction, hopefully he'll be along soon!! Xx

The cardiologist explained to an elderly gentleman that he had suffered a myocardial infarct. At visiting time the sister heard him tell his wife he had suffered a "massive internal fart."

Hopefully they will identify the problem. I am sure diagnosis is faster as an inpatient than a yo-yo outpatient!

very scary at the moment. it’s so soon after last spell❤️

Sunnie2day in reply to Shoshov

All the best to you! Too right about it being scary coming so soon, I'd be concentrating on things like 'Is this because of the...what did I do to bring this latest on...', etc. I've just read you're going to be staying in hospital a bit longer and having more 'fun' tests, so again, all the best to you!

Lezzers profile image
Lezzers in reply to Shoshov

Sorry to hear you've had to have another stent, on the plus side it is only 1 more. How are you feeling now xx

Shoshov profile image
Shoshov in reply to Lezzers

i’m ok now. really wiped out. i think all that morphine yesterday and sedation today was a bit overload. staying in hospital tonight. home tomorrow. just so glad it wasn’t restenosis again. that was they’re biggest worry❤️

Lezzers profile image
Lezzers in reply to Shoshov

Hopefully this has sorted you out now x a good night's sleep is now in order, though you may have to wait till you're home for that. Take care xx

Shoshov profile image

thank you. you may be right❤️

Sunnie2day in reply to Shoshov

Thank-you for the update but I wish it could have been a happier result for you. Still, this new stent might be just the ticket for sorting things. I hope you have a quick and relatively painless recovery now:)

Shoshov profile image
Shoshov in reply to Sunnie2day

as i said to leasers it was a relief it wasn’t restenosis. i had fears of bypass surgery as they already ruled out medication❤️

that’s the million dollar question i suppose. he said it was a big difference from last time. asked if it was something i was not doing or doing wrong and he just said some people are just unlucky❤️
