Happy New Year Ruth. There was no chance of being in bed at midnight here as we had a better firework display than on November 5th. Good riddance to 2020 indeed.

Never been so glad to see the back of a year as I have been about 2020 - what an utterly miserable year! Even the midnight celebrations were a damp squib although one of our neighbours serenaded the street with his bagpipes (we live in Scotland) which was lovely and brought on a fair bit of 'something in my eye'. 2020 was down so long anything looks like up from here 
Onwards and upwards in 2021!
