Hi Everyone I've Been Having Frequent Palpitations And It Is Very Bothersome. I Had A Tilt Table Test Yesterday During The Test My Blood Pressure Didn't But My Heart Started Racing As Soon As The Table Tilted Upwards. It Raced The Entire Time I Was Tilted They Diagnosed POTS. My Doctor's Said To Increase My Salt Intake And Drink Plenty Of Fluids. I Don't Know Much About The Condition. I'm Just Here To Get A Little Better Understanding. Thanks For Having Me And Hearing Me Out

I have had pots for many years. It happens when you stand or as yourself tilted that your blood pressure drops considerable and your heart races. Have you found that when you have been sitting for a while and then stand you get quite dizzy for a time and your heart is racing. The best thing you can do is hold onto something and stand for a minute or two until your body stabilised and get back to normal.Hope this helps
