Diagnoses at long last

i did a post on here quite a while ago as i had problems with a doctor who was dismissing the last echo i had done and basically became like some over raged person.

today i had a phone call from my own doctor, wasn't really anything to do with heart related problems but apparently when she had tried to issue a medication told that the computer had flagged up warnings.

well it seems that after she went through reasons why one was heart problem, she then read all information and apparently i am suffering from ischaemic heart disease so all along there was a diagnoses just a relieve that it is now done.

just annoying though that i saw another doctor who for reasons unknown flew off the handle for no reason one thing i will make sure that i avoid that one in future.

the worry part with having such a heart disease is that my dad had the same and died suddenly.

I don’t think doctor wanted to DX as it’s like lung conditions part of getting old.

The only seem to put effort in if young these days

So what happens next for you? Tests? Medication?

the tests were all ready done apparently that other doctor who went in to a rage as mentioned in my last post on here didn't bother to check.

had the angiogram before the echo this showed left side some narrowing but the problem lays in the aorta where there is fatty deposit, if that shifts then i can kiss my ass putting it politely.

my doctor is consulting regarding the situation to see what they can come up with as i have major issues with heart meds.

do have some blood works coming up on Monday and a big thing middle of next week, really not looking forward to that but it will give a full picture of what is going on with each organ, it seems that quite a few of my organs are having issues, heart, liver and bowels.

just so annoyed at this stage with ref to that other doctor why on earth do they think that they can treat people in such a fashion, it only takes a few minutes to look at information and the results were all on the system!

If you have an issue with a particular GP doctor then I have found that the best person to flag it with is the Practice Manager, if hospital then go to PALS. If neither of these helps then I suggest an email to NHS England (if that's where you live). No one should have to put up with that sort of treatment, especially when your feeling unwell and nervous. Good luck in your recovery.

I put a post on yesterday where the doctor decided as I had gone in for reflux he came up with the idea I didn't have angina because my arteries are clear and I should contact the cardiologist. He wants me to come of my heart meds because I've just got reflux. I don't understand doctors sometimes. A few weeks ago he told me I had carpal tunnel it turns out its tennis elbow.

I’m not sure an echo can diagnose that anyway? That looks at how the blood is pumped around.
