Using WhatsApp Video for Appts

I had to go to see the consultant for a review. I did feel v alone and wanted someone with me to be my extra pair of ears. Not possible in these dark days.

So I setup a 3 person group on WhatsApp for my son and husband, called them on video asked the Dr and away we went. It was so helpful and I was properly supported.

Sounds like a good idea. We should make more use of this sort of thing.

Modern technology, don't you love it?!

I usually put the cardiologist on speaker so my husband can listen in and ask any questions he might have (often at least two centring on 'How long until she can lift a baking tray out of the oven?', lol!). I know my son would love to be in on a conference call but he panics at the sight of me on Skype (he lives in the USA) so would be a real problem if in on a phone consult - I usually just fill him in later making sure to leave out the scary bits;)
