Good ECG results!

A few months ago I was more breathless and felt I had gone back to how I was when originally diagnosed with heart failure even to sleeping sitting up in bed and needing oxygen. I was so disappointed and heart failure nurses concerned. They have tweaked my meds again so increased diuretics by .5 mg and decreased Spironolactone and Nebivolol by half tablet. Last week had bloods and ECG and amazingly my condition has improved and no alarm bells ringing from results so heart failure nurse feels I dont need appointment just contact them if and when. But two things I'm interested in. I have changed my diet completely due to kidney failure to a mostly vegetarian and no red meat or processed foods. Also when I was feeling breathless a few month s ago at night I was woken with a sort of thud in my chest a few times. This is the first time I've mentioned it because its scary. But was that the heart trying to change rhythm or something?
