Hi all,

The shielding, lockdown and Christmas rules in England have changed, as cases of the virus continue to rise. We explain what this means for people with heart and circulatory conditions here: bit.ly/2KfREWl

Do I need to shield again?

If you live in a tier 4 area and are in the shielding group (clinically extremely vulnerable), the government has advised that you take shielding measures again. If you live in tier 4 you should get a letter or email advising you to shield in the coming days, although letters may take slightly longer than usual to arrive due to the Christmas period. Anyone in tier 4 areas who received the shielding letter in November and whose condition hasn't changed should follow the advice immediately.
