Hello Pete-Benje

I am sorry that you are still having a problem finding the cause of your chest pain.

The BHF has some information about angina and it includes the less common and more difficult to diagnose types of angina.

My angina took sometime to diagnose and you may need to be persistent.

I suggest you call the BHF helpline and speak to one of the Cardiac nurses for advice.

I know everyone is different so you must do what is best for you I suffered pain from back to chest over year’s resulting in hospital ecg was normal and no heart problem discovered but given gtn spray if needed

This year again in one hospital discharged no finding but back in next day to another hospital discovered minor heart attack artery closing resulting in angiogram and stent procedure so this may have been my problem for some time

Maybe if still worried ask cat scan with contrast or further investigation re angiogram

I do hope pain goes but tests are the only way to put your mind at rest don’t hesitate to ask heart foundation are Marvellous at giving you advice and support
