Extreme Tiredness

My Partner takes Amlodipine for his blood pressure. Has anyone else experienced extreme tiredness. He takes it at night as instructed but totally wiped out the next day

Does he take any exercise?

Not really he has back and hip problems. He used to swim 2/3 times a week before Covid though

Is he overweight?

Not really maybe he could lose a few pounds but not massively over weight

Had any recent blood tests?

Yes all fine

When I was taking it stopped me from sleeping and gave me ED.

Ok thank you did they change the medication to a different one and did it help?

I had three changes before being prescribed Verapamil and Losartan that suited me .

Another two I had problems with were Lisinopril which caused my throat to swell up after the initial dosage was increased and then Enalapril that caused a rash.

My wife was told to take her amlodipine in the morning, maybe he's not got getting a deep enough sleep at night.
